Delphi Win32 / .NET Component Development on

Author: Bob Swart

I've just published another paperback on, namely Delphi Win32 / .NET Component Development about custom component development using Delphi (most information is relevant to all editions of Delphi, although it's recommended to use Delphi 2005 or higher with this manual).
Topics that are covered include VCL component development, property and component editors, deployment, data-aware components, interfaces, packages, assemblies, VCL for .NET components, .NET (FCL) components, ASP.NET components and ASP.NET DBWeb controls.
Full source code of all custom components and property/component editors can be downloaded and used in your own applications or as basis for your own custom components.

Bob Swart 07/09/04 22:12:41This manual is not ideal for Delphi 5, as it uses the new IDE. Delphi 2005 or higher is the best choice. Otherwise, see and for some free articles that can be used for Delphi 1 and higher (including Delphi 5)...
