On Saturday, December 10th 2005, I'll be doing a session introducing the new features of Delphi 2006 (or Borland Developer Studio 2006) for the HCC Pascal/Delphi GebruikersGroup in IJsselstein, The Netherlands.

I only have about one and a half hours, so I have to make a list of all the things I want to show (too much to show it all)...

Daniel Wischnewski05/12/03 22:52:29So, how did it go? Do you have anything downloadable to look at?
Bob Swart05/12/03 23:26:07We need to wait another week before we know how it was on December 10th - and I may have some downloadable (or at least readable) stuff to look at, too ;-)
Toby Groves05/12/08 12:19:17I attended the Borland D2006 launch event at the RSA in London yesterday. Probably the main thing of interest was the push behind Win32 development. I get the impression that, since D2005, Borland have had a fair bit of feedback from developers, effectively saying "yes, this .NET stuff is all very shiny, but we're still stuck in the Win32 space for the time being". I was surprised how much of the added functionality is applicable to both Win32 and .NET. As for notable things to cover, I definitely think the Together and Live Templates are worth mentioning as there's a fair bit of power there.
