The Delphi Benelux 2016 Congress was held on May 26, 2016 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Speakers included Pawel Glowacki, Steve Ball, Danny Wind and Bob Swart. I did two English session here:

Upgrade Your VCL Applications
In this session, Bob will show you the best practices in moving existing VCL applications to the latest version of Delphi. We will see how to use new VCL Windows 10 controls. We will move code to Windows 64, Unicode and FireDAC. A brief overview of the latest Delphi language features will be given as well. slides

Database Programming with FireDAC
In this session, Bob will demonstrate how you can unleash the power of FireDAC in Delphi applications. Starting with the FireDAC architecture, we will see how to do monitoring and tracing, use the cached updates and in-memory table, with the power of local SQL. We will also see how to migrate to FireDAC from other data access technolgies (including the BDE). slides
