Today, I'm the guest speaker (Building Web and Mobile Applications with VCL for the Web) at the Delphi Developer Days 2011 in Amsterdam, organised by Cary Jensen and Marco Cantu. In my session, I'll demonstrate IntraWeb XI, the latest version of IntraWeb, for building WYSIWYG web applications using Delphi. The IntraWeb application framework including ServerController and User Session are covered, including the new authentication components. Powerful interactive web applications are made possible with AJAX techniques that are integrated into the core of IntraWeb.
For building iPhone and iPad compatible web applications, I will use the TMS iPhone Component set. Finally, testing/debugging and deployment is covered, as well as the different editions of IntraWeb XI and the features included in the bundled vs. Ultimate edition. All this information is also covered in my Delphi XE IntraWeb XI courseware manual, which is offered to DDD 2011 Amsterdam attendees with a 30% discount.

Mark Catheline 11/05/16 18:17:45I have found it difficult to deply Intraweb applications because the DLL requires additional permissions not required for asp.net applications, and most ISPs do not allow this additional access. Is there an easy way to deploy Intraweb applications on a web server? Thanks, Mark
