Kyle Miller 10/10/19 17:44:18 Looks like a very nice table of contents. A mention for VCL for the Web should be placed in Third Party tools as an introduction and product tie-in for your other book which covers it in more detail. If you add it, call it "IntraWeb," because "VCL for the Web" implies it's a web solution delivered by the VCL, the VCL managed by Embarcadero. Embarcadero is at the will of Atozed in regards to IntraWeb.
Bob Swart 10/10/20 08:58:40 The Delphi XE Development Essentials manual covers the fundamentals and the new features in Delphi XE, 2010, 2009 and 2007 compared to Delphi 7. There are some more advanced topics that fell beyond the scope of this “development essentials” manual which will be covered in other places (see http://www.eBob42.com/courseware for details).

mikey 11/02/01 06:06:11 I agree with Kyle - the name VCL for the Web is misleading since Embarcedaro doesn't support or document the product and you don't get the fully licensed version with Delphi. It should be made clear that IntraWeb is the 3rd party add-on for Delphi (and it's not always well integrated either...).

Annarita 13/09/05 17:34:50 Once faced that problem, but didnt solve it the way you adevsid. Open your RAD, go to tools -> Options and add this to library path C:\Program Files\Embarcadero\RAD Studio\8.0\lib\win32\debug (the default installation path for RAD XE in windows is C:\Program Files\Embarcadero ). Upon doing this you wont find any errors like packages ‘vcl’ not found or packages ‘rtl’ not found.Good Luck!!
